[ Vaguely, JJ's aware that Cam's just trying to make light of the situation. He should know, because it's something that he does himself quite often, but he's so keyed up from nerves that he can't be anything but honest in his reply. ]

[JJ you do care. It doesn't take long for Cam to arrive, and when he does, his lighthearted texts from earlier stand in stark contrast to Cam's current continence. He's alright, but despite the fact he just woke up from an extended nap at Sandra's place, he still looks beaten down. Physically, he has a number of minor wounds that he hasn't bothered to heal yet (used up all of his magic helping the people that really needed it), and mentally, even though he moves with his normal relaxed posture, there's a weariness there. Dark circles under his eyes, and a distant look to his gaze.
